 About 5 minutes of strong gusty winds preceded a burst of heavy rain that began at 4:23 pm. The burst was over well before 5:05 pm although some rain fell afterwards. During the windstorm, branches up to an inch in diameter fell. I have no idea why my gauge catch today is so much less than the two nearest stations. Much of the rain came down slanted west to east.
