 Crazy late afternoon/evening. Large chunk of tree fell across the road up Levanna just before 5pm. Very high winds w/ branches and detritus flying from S to N. We had two SVR Warnings. Surveyed damage in Aurora this morning. Several trees snapped 1/2 to 2/3 up, and one completely uprooted. Alot of branches down, and damage to slate from the church roof/shingles from the (former) Wells boathouse. Checked .87" in the gauge just after 10pm last night, w/ another .26" overnight for the total. 42 degrees, breezy and cloudy this morning.
