For the week I received only 0.18" of rain. The month of May total rainfall is just 0.99" which is not very good for May! I planted the garden plants this week and have had to water them twice already. The grass is green but has slowed down growing. The pond is full but no longer overflowing. Our local creek is flowing, but below normal for May too. The cottonwood trees are dropping cotton like crazy. Our farmer friends have most fields planted and some up, but waiting for rain.
