Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CO-BO-596
Station Name: Boulder 1.9 SE
Report Date: 5/18/2025
Submitted: 5/18/2025 8:06 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
2.02” precip for month, 127% of normal. However, we have also had some very warm days and some wind. We’re very close to normal for the calendar year and water year for this date (101% 102% of average). Trees, natives plants coming along nicely. I see people starting to water their lawns, but I think that has to do with temperatures. Flow is good in creeks and springs in the foothills. Weeding in my yard, the soil is moist but not wet. On balance, I’d say we’re at near normal, despite being a bit over precip for the date. The higher than average temperatures, the wind, and the high runoff (over 1” of the total came on one day) means we’re right around normal for this tome
of year.
