Still dry around here with only a 0.04" of rain measured for the week. Sitting at 22% of NOAA normal for the month, with YTD at 65% and Water YTD at 70%. Most planting appears to be completed. Corn and beans both emerging from early planted fields but the soil conditions are dry. Expecting some soaking rains this week which will hopefully help those that are waiting on germination. Mississippi River in Rock Island has dropped three feet since this time last week, with the Green and Rock Rivers holding steady. Hummingbirds have been very active at the feeders.
