After a nice April, temperature wise, we had only 3.26" of our normal 3.76" of rain. Wed had 3 frosts mid month and only two days in the mid 80's the entire month for our warmest days: (85 on the 4th and 84 on the 5th). It was one of the nicest Aprils in recent history. No killer frost(s) for our big strawberry producing county. Best strawberry crop in years. Crops and livestock in good shape. Wildlife , crops and yards all in good shape. Water quality and quantity good .
